Step 1: Assessment & Prep
Before we begin, we inspect each piece to assess its condition, structural integrity, and potential repairs. We then remove old hardware, clean the surface thoroughly, and make any necessary fixes, such as tightening joints or replacing missing components.
Step 2: Stripping & Sanding
To achieve a smooth, flawless finish, we strip away old paint, stain, or varnish as needed. We then sand the surface carefully, working through different grits to remove imperfections and create an ideal base for the new finish.
Step 3: Priming & Painting/Staining
Depending on the desired look, we apply a high-quality primer to ensure long-lasting adhesion and prevent bleed-through. We then either paint or stain the piece using professional-grade products, layering as needed for even coverage and depth.
Step 4: Sealing & Protecting
Once the color is perfect, we apply a protective topcoat to enhance durability and resist wear and tear. Whether it’s a satin polyurethane, matte wax, or high-performance clear coat, we tailor the protection to the furniture's function and style.
Step 5: Finishing Touches & Delivery
The final step is all about the details, installing new or refinished hardware, distressing for a vintage look (if desired), and giving the piece a final polish.
